- Terpene Profile
Chemdawg is one of the definitive strains that’s helped to change the course of the global cannabis scene. So many of today’s most sought after strains can trace their origins back to Chemdawg. The actual genetic line of Chemdawg gets complicated but, it’s said to be a hybrid of Nepalese and Thai genetics that originated within the United States jam band scene during the 1990s. Since then it has been praised for its unique taste and immensely potent effects.
Chemdawg repeatedly tests with THC levels exceeding 25% and, some growers have reported more than 30% THC! The CBD content is low and the main terpene profile is of beta-caryophyllene, limonene, myrcene, and humulene. Chemdog is a hybrid that is 55% indica to 45% sativa. Because of the high THC, Chemdog is an ideal strain to use as the foundation for your future breeding projects.
The Chemdawg strain is known for having sparkly silver buds with rust-colored pistils throughout. Tapered nugs that look like arrowheads with minimal leaves and hollow stems. The resinous calyxes seem to stack with perfect symmetry.
Aroma & Taste
Chemdog is the original strain to evoke the heavy diesel and piney fragrance that so many connoisseurs love. The buds are skunky and spicy with a lemony rocket fuel smell that almost burns your nose. The smoke is smooth and deliciously addicting. Lots of earthiness and sour qualities can also be detected.
Chemdogs buzz is fast-acting and hard-hitting. Almost immediately it makes your eyes feel heavy the sends a warm and body-numbing rush from the top of your head down to your toes. The experience is truly relaxing and gives a prolonged couch-locking effect that’s perfect for relieving restlessness and chronic pain.
Growing Chemdog Seeds
Chemdawg is a strain best suited for indoor gardens but, when grown successfully Chemdawg outdoor is some of the finest tasting herb you’ll ever encounter. Indoor flowering takes about 9 weeks and delivers a healthy 28oz/m2. Chemdog is very stretchy once flowering begins and, the buds get heavy so having some dowels or a screen will help to hold up its hefty branches. Outdoor Chemdog finishes flowering in mid-October. It prefers warm and dry conditions and can yield 28oz/plant outdoors. Chemdawg has good resistance to pests thanks to the fuel like aroma of the flowers but, take care to keep the environment dry as to prevent unwanted mildew from growing.

All seeds popped. About to switch to 12/12, they are thriving. My third order and I’ve been happy every time.
I'm very disappointed. 2 out of 3 c's from this strain sprouted been dyed.
Sadly I wasn’t able to get these seeds to germinate, I was super excited about the strain love the smoke but would of been the first time growing it. even went as far as delicately prepared cleaning both the grown tent and germ tent lol it just was meant to be, at first I thought it was just taking its time but after 3 days turned to 5 then 7 I realized something wasn’t right. I opened 1 and it was just a hallow shell, the second was a just black on the inside I have up at that point.
Never have I ever before had an issue with any seeds From Seedking. Which is why I can’t even try to point a finger at them or the suppliers, simple filling this experience as FML moment.
Tents not empty anymore, germinates seeds from a previous order and now growing cookies :)
Great strain wish you more luck then me
(Make me jealous fellow growers>)
I bought a 5 pk of seeds. Typically my seed percentage rate is 99.9 % success. I got 2 out of 5 with these. Not so great results.. I have the two going and they look nice and healthy we will see the results in a few weeks.
I was and am looking for the stinkiest, most gassy loud funk around amd so far the chemdawg is the only strain ive grown (so far) in VEG. I HAVNT FLOWERED YET but in veg they stink im sure that means good things
Delivery was a bit slow. However, the seeds germinated with no problem. They’re growing very well. Will definitely order again soon. Attached is a picture of the plant. 2nd week of flower.
Dilevery was a little slow but all in all things are pretty nice
1 of 2 germinated 3rd saving for future projects. But wow when it popped it took off. However when I transplanted she just kind of paused. After about a week or more she's taking back off.
3 of 3 came up
Delivery was fast
